My New Toy
In early 1999, I finally acquired my dream bass, a
Michael Tobias
Design (MTD) 535. I'd played a few of these basses as they came
through Veneman's Music and after making the decision to jump into the
5 string world (after 20 years of nothin' but 4), the MTD 535 had to
be it. To me, it had the absolute best feeling B string, incredible
sound, and amazing feel.
First, a picture, thanks to Eric L. Keep reading if you're
interested in details and a review of the bass.
